Queen's Park FC can confirm that Grant Savoury has left the club to join fellow William Hill Championship club, Greenock Morton. The popular playmaker pitched up on the southside, from Peterhead, in summer 2022. Unfortunately, after an impressive first season, a serious knee injury sustained in our Premiership play-off defeat to Partick Thistle the following year limited his appearances to 67 games across his four-year spell in the black and white. The injury led to two years on the sidelines, but Grant recovered to earn a new one-year contract last summer and featured 20 times under Sean Crighton – scoring what would become his final goal for the southsiders in our Scottish Gas Scottish Cup win at Linlithgow Rose last November. Grant moves on with the club's best wishes and gratitude for his time spent with The Spiders.
